Private Knee Clinic Services

The specialist knee Consultants at our private knee clinic are leading experts in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of all knee problems and complaints.

Our knee clinic at St John & St Elizabeth Hospital offers unrivalled service to patients suffering from knee pain, knee injury or knee stiffness.

Knee consultants establish the cause of knee pain to determine or confirm a diagnosis. We are then best placed to recommend the right treatment from our knee clinic to help treat and repair knee problems.

Services and treatments

Our knee Consultants have a wealth of experience and expertise in diagnosing and treating knee problems. Knee problems can be genetic or stem from an injury or trauma, and at our knee clinic, we can advise and administer the best treatment plan for each patient’s unique circumstance.

nurse with a happy patient

Patient story - Michelle

“Last year I had two total knee replacements 10 months apart, and if it wasn’t for the care I received with number one, I may have seriously delayed number two.  I was so well looked after by everyone, from the pre-op team to the wonderful nurses and catering staff.  Nothing was too much trouble, at any time of day or night.  My consultant Mr Marston and anaesthetist Dr Ward put aside any worries I had with their explanations of the procedure (and the pain!) and their extreme kindness and patience in working around my severe needle phobia made me so much more relaxed.

“St John and St Elizabeth’s is my nearest hospital but even if I moved away and needed further treatment I would be keen to return.  On top of excellent medical skills, a warm welcome and reassurance are so important when you are about to have a major operation, as is full support afterwards.  St John and St Elizabeth is always consistent on these matters.  Consistently great.”

"It's certainly changed my prospects for the next twenty years or so"
