London Spine Specialists Launched
We are delighted to announce the launch of London Spine Specialists at the Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth.
London’s state-of-the-art Spine Specialists service welcomes several world-renowned Consultants to the Hospital as part of a progressive expansion to our spinal services.
Our spine care including diagnostics, spinal injections and innovative keyhole surgery techniques, all available in the luxury facilities in St John’s Wood.
Our London Spine Specialists team
The Specialist Spine team will be led by Mr Bob Chatterjee, a leading Spinal Surgeon with extensive experience in orthopaedics and trauma using the latest innovative techniques. Mr Chatterjee holds the senior position of Spinal Lead at The Royal Free NHS Trust and has spent many years developing his specialism in both training and teaching.
Several new leading spinal Consultants will join Mr Chatterjee at London Spine Specialists, they will be announced soon.
All of our Consultants provide patients with the world class care the Hospital is renowned for. All of the Consultants and their details are listed on the new website.
The launch of London Spine Specialists comes as the Hospital embarks on a £40 million development to expand services across the Charitable Hospital, including 7 new state of the art theatres, a day case suite and expanded outpatient and imaging facilities.

London Spine Specialists is supported by the new Patient Contact Centre set up to assist patients with booking appointments. A dedicated team of coordinators are on hand to assist patients with booking the earliest available appointments to see the specialist they need.
