Ms Grassi obtained her degree in Medicine and General Surgery at the prestigious and competitive University of Milan. She was accepted into the selective and competitive general surgical training at the same University, where she had the chance to gain a broad and sound knowledge and experience in general and breast surgery, learning from internationally recognised expert surgeons. During her training as a surgeon Ms Grassi felt the need to expand her professional skills, spending 2 years in France as a full time working senior trainee.
After moving to the UK, Ms Grassi completed a fellowship in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery at Burton NHS Trust and Queen Elizabeth hospital, Birmingham. In 2014 Ms Grassi accepted a position as a consultant at King’s college hospital in 2014 where she practiced Breast and Oncoplastic Breast Surgery. She is now based at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust.
Ms Grassi regularly attends National and International courses to stay ahead of the fast developing techniques in Breast and Oncoplastic Breast Surgery.
Ms Grassi enjoys research and participates in National and international projects. She is currently principal investigator of Loris trial, TeAM and Ibra study. Ms Grassi has also published articles in international peer reviewed medical journals.
