Consultant Biography
Ms Fredrica Windless is a registered dietitian with over 20 years of clinical experience. She has worked in a variety of positions within the NHS. She currently works as the Lead Home Enteral Tube Feed Dietitian for adults services at Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust and has been in this role for the past 12 years. Fredrica also works at the Hospital of St John’s and St Elizabeth providing an inpatient service.
Her specialist skills and experience includes oncology – head and neck cancer – clients requiring nutritional support and tube feeding, gastroenterology- Coeliac disease, Irritable bowel syndrome – IBS, and Inflammatory bowel disease – IBD, lipid disorders, weight loss management and diabetes. Fredrica is competent with changing balloon retained feeding tubes routinely and she advises on the management of feeding tubes and tube stoma sites.
She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and is a full member of the British Dietetic Association Her aim is to empower and motivate her clients so they have a better understanding of their health so they can manage it with evidence base nutritional intervention.
