The Shoulder Unit was established in 1991 and is dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment and research of injuries and musculoskeletal conditions affecting the shoulder and elbow.
The Shoulder Unit is based at the Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth and treats patients locally, nationally and internationally.
The Unit is fully equipped to surgically manage all types of shoulder and elbow disorders using state of the art technology.
The Shoulder Unit consists of four consultant orthopaedic surgeons specialising in shoulder and elbow surgery. They work alongside a dedicated team of consultants, anaesthetists, radiologists and physiotherapists.
