The department has two modern fully digital general X-ray rooms and is equipped to undertake a comprehensive range of general X-ray examinations.

Supplied by Siemens and installed in 2005, these rooms utilise the latest innovations in digital imaging technology and offer shorter examination times, lower radiation doses, and excellent image quality.

A Mobile X-ray machine and 3 Mobile Image Intensifiers are available for use in the Wards and Operating Theatre’s.

• This service is available to all patients, referred by a registered medical practitioner.
• Appointments are available at short notice and where possible a 'same day' result service operates.
