Shoulder Unit
The Shoulder Unit was established in 1991 and is dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment and research of injuries and musculoskeletal conditions affecting the shoulder and elbow. The team comprises four surgeons, a rheumatologist and sports physician, specialist anaesthetists, physiotherapists and radiologists.
The Shoulder Unit treats patients locally, nationally and internationally and has close links with many national and regional sporting organisations and performing arts companies.
The Shoulder Unit can provide consultations, specialist imaging, physiotherapy and state of the art surgical facilities under one roof in a clean and pleasant environment and is fully equipped to surgically manage all types of shoulder and elbow disorders including:
