Our Charity
St John's Hospice
St John’s is the only independent Hospice serving central and north west London. Our specialist team provide a wide range of services designed to support those with terminal or life threatening illnesses, their families and friends.
At St John’s, we focus on relieving symptoms and promoting independence. We provide a positive, safe and friendly environment in which people can embrace the challenges and opportunities life brings. Our patients can learn new skills, take up painting, enjoy the benefits of reiki and reflexology, or simply benefit from the peaceful and uplifting surroundings.
We need YOUR help to continue providing the best possible care and support to our patients and their loved ones. Without the generosity and commitment of our supporters, we could not continue to care for more than 600 patients every year in our day centre, residential unit, and in their own homes, or to support the friends and family of our patients.

families and friends.
Our Services
We offer a wide range of services including day care, residential care, Hospice at Home, community nursing, Children’s Bereavement Counselling and social work support. Our medical care takes the very best on conventional therapies and tried and tested complimentary therapies and combines the two into a cutting edge treatment plan, customised to meet the needs of every individual.

Public transport
We are just three minutes walk from St John’s Wood underground station (Jubilee line).
- Bus numbers 13, 46, 82 and 113 pass along Wellington Road. The nearest stop is just before St John’s Wood underground station.
- Bus numbers 46 and 187 go along Circus Road. The bus stop is close to the Hospital’s Circus Road entrance.
- Bus numbers 189 and 139 go along Abbey Road.
Car parking
There is a public car park in Kingsmill Terrace (just off Acacia Road) but there is no parking at the Hospital.
