Gynaecology

Gynaecology covers a large spectrum of sub specialties and ensuring each patient is referred to the correct specialist is key.  The gynaecology team cover: general gynaecology checks, specialists in abnormal smears, colposcopy; abnormal menstruation clinics, early pregnancy, pelvic pain, infection, continence, HRT and all general gynaecology and clinics run.

Many of the services are outpatient based and many treatment options can be undertaken in this area too, to avoid unnecessary admission to hospital.

All gynaecology specialists have a trained nurse to assist them and to offer the patient a chaperone if required. Clinics have their own pelvic ultrasound scanning facilities are available to provide a one stop approach to care and diagnosis.

We have a number of Consultant Gynaecologists working in the Outpatient Consulting Rooms.

Appointments & Enquiries

Our services are available 6 days a week with gynaecology specialists available every day. Your specific complaint may require you to be allocated to a specific clinic but appointments are available within 24 hours.

Patients are usually referred to this service by their general practitioner (GP) or hospital consultant.
