Gastroenterology diagnoses and treats diseases of the digestive system, including the stomach, intestines, liver, gall bladder, and pancreas. Conditions include ulcers, hepatitis, Colitis, Crohn's Disease, irritable bowel syndrome, and abdominal pain.
Hepatology is a branch of medicine concerned with the liver.
We have a number of consultant Gastroenterologists and Hepatologists working as part of The GI Unit in our Outpatient Consulting Rooms.
