We recognise that for everyone coming into hospital it can be a stressful and an unnerving experience. At the Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth we are committed to the welfare of all our patients and you will find all staff will work hard to ensure your stay with us is a positive experience.

Arriving at the Hospital
The Hospital is situated in the North London Suburb of St John’s Wood, near Lord’s Cricket Ground. Our main entrance is in Grove End Road.
The hospital is well served by public transport being just one minutes walk from St John’s Wood Tube Station. There is a drop-off of point at the main entrance but please note there is no parking at the Hospital. The closest public car park is in Kingsmill Terrace a short walk from the Hospital.
The Admission Procedure
When you arrive, come to the main entrance in Grove End Road and notify the receptionist of your arrival. A member of the Admissions Team will show you to your room where you will meet your nurse who will help you settle in.
Once you are settled, essential medical information will be taken and you will be given the opportunity to discuss your procedure with a member of the medical team. Any queries you may have regarding your treatment will then be answered.
Although your consultant is not in the Hospital day and night, we have a team of specialist registrars who remain in the Hospital 24 hours a day and are in close contact with your consultant at all times.
Clinical Specialists - During your stay, you may come into contact with a range of clinical specialists including radiographers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and cardiac technicians. All staff are highly trained in their area of specialty ensuring the very best in service and care. Any staff visiting your room will all have ID showing their name and their role within the Hospital. Most staff will be uniform.
