Blood Tests

The Department of Pathology is a well equipped modern facility providing a comprehensive diagnostic service to all areas of the Hospital and to Consultants and GP’s, in London and the South East of England. The Pathology Department has full unconditional CPA accreditation.

• The Phlebotomy (Blood Tests) Department is located on the first floor of Brampton House in the Outpatient Department and is available:
  Monday to Friday: 8.00am – 8.00pm
  Saturday: 9.00am – 1.00pm.
• The Department operates a walk-in service for all routine blood tests, and self referrals for a limited range of tests.  Appointments are only necessary for specialised investigations.
• If you are unsure about your test, please contact us for advice.
• Domiciliary/home visits can also be arranged. This service is provided for patients who may find travel difficult, and can also save time before a consultant appointment.
