Birth Unit

The Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth today announces an exciting new maternity service.

Mums-to-be can still enjoy the benefits of our unique Unit with a range of CLC packages which include all antenatal and postnatal care.

Clients will have all their scans and consultations in the friendly, luxurious surroundings of the hospital.

They can then choose to deliver at one of a number of private maternity units, including the Portland Hospital.

Please note the Birth Unit is no longer accepting bookings for deliveries.

Clients currently booked with an expected date of delivery before the 30th of June 2010 will be unaffected by this decision, forced upon us by the current challenging economic situation and increased competition.

Clients currently booked with an expected date of delivery of 1st of July 2010 and beyond have been given a managed transfer of care to a maternity unit of their choice.

In the meantime all aspects of the maternity service will continue as usual under the care of our brilliant team of midwives and other staff.
