Located on the ground floor of the hospital, close to the main reception, our Pharmacists are available for guidance and advice on your medicinal needs.
The Pharmacy is staffed by a fully qualified and friendly team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who work in partnership with the Consultants, Resident Medical Officers and nursing staff to ensure a safe, efficient and comprehensive pharmaceutical service.
The pharmacy is available for out-patient prescriptions and all your ‘non-prescription’ needs with a comprehensive range of ‘over the counter’ medicines, ante-natal products, vitamin and mineral supplements, homeopathic medicines, aromatherapy oils and travel/support socks.
Please note we only accept credit/debit card/cheque method of payment for over the counter and outpatient prescriptions. If paying by cash you can pay at Cashiers.
Prescription Delivery Service
A postal and courier service is available for delivery of prescriptions. Simply ask your doctor or the medical secretary to send your prescription to us. Alternatively, you can fax us your prescription. We will contact you for credit card details and arrange delivery.
Coming into Hospital and Medication on Discharge
We encourage our patients to bring in their own medicines if being admitted, in case we do not hold in stock.
We wish to advise patients that most insurance companies do not cover medicines to take home on discharge.
