At the Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth we acknowledge that the responsibility we have to the local community extends far beyond providing excellent patient care. We also strive provide regular educational events for the general public, to help raise their awareness of health issues.
We achieve this by producing a range of educational literature, display stands and public lectures throughout the year. Where ever possible we link these activities to the national ‘awareness’ weeks and months, for example Breast Cancer awareness in October, Prostate Cancer Awareness in November, etc.
