Consultants practising at The Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth are innovative leaders of their specialities.
All consultants applying must hold or have recently held a substantive NHS consultant post.
Applications for practising privileges are granted or rejected by the Medical Advisory Committee (MAC).
Our Chief Executive David Marshall and Medical Director David Grant oversee all applications.
Once MAC approval is granted by the MAC an appointment will be made for you to meet with the Chief Executive. However, if you would like to meet before this time we will be happy to arrange this for you.
Specialists such as professions allied to medicine, will be considered by the MAC providing they can demonstrate adequate training approved by a recognized training body.
