Mr Mike Dilkes is a Consultant General ENT Surgeon, appointed to St Bartholomew’s Hospital in 1996. He has a sub-speciality interest in head and neck tumours and laser surgery, having performed over 4,000 laser procedures for a wide range of conditions – from throat cancer to tonsils and facial moles.
Mr Mike Dilkes is or has been the ENT Surgeon for the England Cricket Team, the British Olympic Association, the Amateur Boxing Association, The Lawn Tennis Association, Saracens Rugby Club as well as a number of top professional football clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, West Ham, Tottenham Hotspur, Crystal Palace and Leyton Orient.
Practising privately at the Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth, Mr Mike Dilkes forms part of the London ENT Unit, a specialist ENT service dedicated to providing ultimate standards of care.
Following technological advances in medicine, Mr Dilkes pioneers numerous techniques in the UK to provide patients with effective treatment for a number of Ear, Nose and Throat conditions. Techniques include,

His sporting interests are sailing, soccer (season ticket holder for last 25 years at Chelsea F.C.), rugby and ‘sqoof’ (a sport he invented himself). He also enjoys anything that involves being outside!
